Through yoga, meditation, sacred rituals, and unforgettable encounters, we experience Egypt in a way that goes far beyond the ordinary.

Beginning of the Retreat

Arrival & Opening Circle. Shared breakfast and welcome circle to get to know one another and consciously begin our journey together.

Visit to Saqqara

We explore the impressive pyramid complex of Saqqara, including the famous Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest pyramid in the world. Afterward, we visit the mysterious Serapeum of Saqqara with its monumental, precisely crafted granite sarcophagi. Their immense dimensions and extraordinary craftsmanship still raise questions today. A powerful place that invites us to pause, feel the silence, and consciously connect with its deep, primordial energy.

Blue Lotus Garden in Saqqara

Visit to the unique Blue Lotus Garden near the Saqqara pyramid complex, where the true Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) is cultivated with great dedication.

Amid water basins and blossoms, we take time to perceive and consciously connect with the subtle energy of this plant, revered for thousands of years. We meet the guardian of the original Blue Lotus, who shares insights from over 30 years of personal experience and answers our questions.

Here we also receive the original lotus for our ceremonies during the journey.
The visit concludes with a lovingly prepared shared lunch buffet in the garden.

Our first Blue Lotus ceremony.
Together with our Egyptian friend and therapist Mona, who actively supports the preservation and cultivation of this ancient healing plant, we gently open our hearts to the Blue Lotus on this first shared evening.

Overnight Stay

Overnight at Villa Belle Epoque, a peaceful retreat in the green southern district of Cairo. Alternatively, accommodation at Mena House Hotel directly by the pyramids.

Visit to the Pyramids of Giza - Encounter with a Wonder of the World.

To fully arrive in our own bodies, we begin the day with a mindful yoga practice in the morning. Afterwards, we enjoy a nourishing breakfast at our luxurious 5-star accommodation.

Cairo is vibrant, loud, and full of contrasts. Especially for visitors from Europe, this intensity can be overwhelming. That is why having a calm and pleasant retreat oasis is all the more valuable—your gift to yourself.

We enter the awe-inspiring Pyramids of Giza, a place of extraordinary presence and millennia-old history. Each row of stones bears the traces of a highly developed culture and a deep spiritual orientation.

In the very special King's Chamber of the Great Pyramid—a space not included in the regular admission—we consciously take time for a small group meditation. This place has long been regarded as a space of high vibration, a powerful field for manifestation and inner transformation.

In the evening, we bid farewell to Cairo with a shared sunset dinner overlooking the pyramids, a dignified conclusion in this unique setting.

Afterwards, we travel on through the night in our own comfortable vans into the vastness of the Siwa desert, where silence, clarity, and purification await us in a pristine landscape.

30.10.

We reach the Siwa salt desert at sunrise.

A UNESCO World Heritage site of silent, archaic beauty. We have breakfast in the middle of the desert oasis and slowly let the vastness and clarity of this landscape sink in.

Siwa is a place with a unique history. The Macedonian king, Alexander the Great, once traveled to this oasis to consult the famous oracle. There, he was not only recognized as the legitimate Pharaoh of Egypt but also confirmed as the divine son of Zeus Ammon, a symbolic connection between Greek and Egyptian mythology. Through this recognition, Alexander was legitimized in the eyes of the Egyptians and was ultimately accepted not as yet another foreign conqueror, but as a liberator.

We spend four nights in the Siwa desert oasis at Resort Salt, a comfortable eco-retreat center run by inspiring Egyptian women. In this protected environment, our joint retreat unfolds with yoga, meditations, conscious bodywork, and music, carried by the special atmosphere of this place.

We take joint excursions to Siwa's special attractions, visit the Oracle Temple where you can also consult your own oracle, stroll through the old city with its traditional handicrafts as well as the historical mud-brick fortress ruins.

We relax in the hot springs and receive a practical introduction to Water Therapy, a form of mindful massage in the water. Afterwards, we bathe in the world-famous salt lakes and let ourselves be gently held by the supporting and purifying power of the water.

Another highlight is our desert safari out into the silence and vastness of the landscape. There, we take time for meditation and a conscious experience with the Blue Lotus, embedded in the clear, timeless atmosphere of the desert.

Continuing the Journey.

In the evening, we travel back to Cairo Airport in our private mini vans. From there, we take a domestic flight to Luxor to cover the distance comfortably and save time.

Although there is a night train from Cairo to Luxor, it is often noisy, unreliable, and not very comfortable. This is another reason why we consciously chose the domestic flight.

Egypt is a beautiful country, yet at the same time, it is unfamiliar and intense for many of us. It is important to us to make this journey as pleasant as possible for you and to spare our bodies unnecessary strain, so that energy and presence are preserved for what truly matters.

Luxor – The City of Temples.

Luxor is considered one of the most significant temple cities in the world. Hardly any other place unites monumental architecture, living mythology, and the tangible presence of an ancient high culture along the Nile in such a concentrated way.

In the morning, after an intensive day of travel, we arrive in Luxor and board our private, luxurious Dahabeya, a traditional sailing boat that will be our stylish and unhurried home on the Nile for the coming days. After checking in, we enjoy a shared lunch on board and slowly settle in.

In the afternoon, we visit the impressive Karnak Temple. There, we receive private access to the secret chamber of Sekhmet, which is not open to the public. This room feels unusually focused and powerful. The presence of the goddess Sekhmet stands for clarity, transformation, and inner strength.

We are accompanied by our exceptionally experienced, professional guide, who not only knows the historical dimension of the temples but also leads us to lesser-known spiritual sites. He accompanies our entire temple journey along the Nile and also speaks on board about the mythology, symbolism, and deeper spiritual meaning of each individual site.

We also welcome our sound healer, Habiba, who joins us on the Dahabeya. In the evening, she guides us through sound healings, live music for breathwork, mantras, and medicine songs. With her crystal singing bowls, she creates a subtle and healing sound space. In the temples, too, we mindfully sound together to absorb the vibration of the places and connect with these spaces, which in their architecture and acoustics themselves function like resonating bodies.

The Initiation Temples of Dendara and Abydos.

In the morning, we have breakfast on board our Dahabeya and begin the day peacefully on the Nile.

Our path leads us to two of the most powerful temple sites in Egypt: to the Dendera Temple of Hathor and to Abydos, the Temple of Osiris.

In ancient Egypt, Hathor embodies the absolute feminine—the nurturing, receiving, and heart-opening principle. Her energy stands for beauty, joy of life, and creative power. Osiris, on the other hand, symbolizes consciousness, transformation, and the clearly directed principle.

These two sites are among the most spiritually significant initiation temples in the country. In the encounter with Hathor and Osiris, we symbolically experience the inner union of feminine and masculine power within ourselves, as a balance of heart and consciousness, devotion and clarity.

We enter the temples mindfully, inwardly gathered, and accompanied by the Blue Lotus for our heart-opening, clarity, and alignment.

In the evening, we return on board, enjoy a shared dinner, and let the day conclude with a sound healing.

Sailing on the Calm Nile to the Temple of Edfu.

We sail without swell and without waves—the gentlest, most comfortable, and at the same time most luxurious way to travel through Egypt. As our ship glides through the vast landscape, a space of deep deceleration emerges. We rest, meditate with a view of the Nile, immerse ourselves in the silent expanse of the water, and open ourselves, accompanied by the Blue Lotus, to inner clarity and heart power.

There is plenty of time for shared conversations, mindful encounters, soothing massages, singing circles under the open sky, and inspiring workshops. In between, our crew continually spoils us with wonderful, freshly prepared food. Everything is included, allowing us to fully arrive in the experience.

A special highlight is the guided tour of the Temple of Edfu, the great temple of Horus. This exceptionally well-preserved temple from the Ptolemaic period is one of Egypt's most powerful sacred sites. Horus, the falcon-headed sky god, embodies awakened consciousness, clear vision, and the victory of light over darkness.

The temple is like a gateway hewn from stone leading to inner transformation. From the monumental entrance, we walk through courtyards and columned halls, which symbolically represent the path from the outer life to the inner sanctuary, from the everyday to the divine core within us. Horus stands for the regaining of one's own sovereignty, for protection, alignment, and seeing clearly beyond illusion.

Thus, the visit to Edfu becomes not just an archaeological tour, but a conscious encounter with the power of clear vision, with the inner falcon that invites us to grow beyond old limitations.

Sailing to Kom Ombo. Temple Visit. Retreat Program.

As we continue to glide along the Nile, we reach the impressive Temple of Kom Ombo, which in a unique way reflects the duality of life. The temple is unique in its symmetrical design and is dedicated to two deities: Sobek, the power of instinct and primordial creative energy, and Horus the Elder, the luminous, ordering power of consciousness.

Kom Ombo reminds us that light and shadow, intuition and clarity, body and mind are not opposites, but complement each other. In the conscious encounter with these archetypal forces, we can learn to strengthen our own inner balance and mindfully integrate repressed aspects.

On our journey, we immerse ourselves step by step in the Egyptian world of gods and get to know their myths and qualities. This knowledge is not merely historical but can be experienced vividly. It can help us to direct our own energy more consciously, develop inner stability, and connect more deeply with our spiritual practice.

Embedded in our retreat program, we interweave the impressions of the temple with meditation, sharing, and yoga. Thus, each temple visit becomes a resonance chamber in which external architecture and inner experience come into harmony.

05.11.

We sail to Aswan, deep into the south of Egypt.

To where the Nile becomes calmer and wider, and the African soul of the country becomes tangible. Here unfolds a landscape strongly shaped by Nubian culture, by vibrant colors, music, stories, and a warm, immediate cordiality. The south carries an earthy, primordial power that touches us in a special way.

We visit a Nubian Village and immerse ourselves in the daily life of this ancient culture. The colorfully painted houses, the open hospitality, and the lively music allow us to experience a different, African-influenced Egypt. At the market, there is time to stroll, to discover spices, textiles, and handmade artworks, to engage with the local people, and to consciously immerse ourselves in this unique atmosphere.

In this region, we also encounter the great goddess Isis, one of the most significant and vibrant figures of Egyptian spirituality. Isis embodies living wisdom, devotion, healing, and creative femininity. She is the companion of Osiris and the mother of Horus, guardian of the mysteries of death and rebirth. In her, strength and gentleness, magic and compassion, protection and deep heart-power unite.

A special highlight is the visit to the original Sanctuary of Isis on the island of Philae, now preserved within the Philae temple complex. This temple is considered one of the last places where ancient Egyptian spirituality was actively practiced. Its reliefs tell of healing rituals, of protection, and of the power of feminine magic. The atmosphere is finer and more intimate, almost like a sacred heart-space by the water.

With a small boat, we also travel to the original site where the Temple of Isis once stood. The gateway of the ancient complex remains, a stone threshold between past and present. At this special place, we take a bath in the clear Nile. The water becomes the element of purification and renewal, a conscious step into inner transformation. Here, the old may flow away, and something new may arise within us.

In the silence and expanse of the river, we open ourselves to the magic of Isis, to her healing power, her heart-power, and her protective presence. We let her energy work within us, gentle and powerful at the same time, and connect with the primordial feminine force that carries memory, trust, and transformation.

The Blue Lotus, a symbol of consciousness, rebirth, and the opening of the heart, also has its origins in the southern Nile Valley. Its energy harmonizes in a special way with the healing magic of Isis and supports the connection to our inner wisdom and heart-power.

Thus, in Aswan, Nubian culture, African earth-connection, living encounters, and the deep spirituality of Isis weave together into an experience that touches, reminds, and opens space for transformation.
